Protecting your personal data matters to us. We process your data exclusively in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2. No cookies, no tracking

This website uses no cookies. We use no Google Analytics and no other tracking or analytics services. Fonts and all scripts are served locally from our server — no external content (such as web fonts or CDNs) is loaded that would transmit your data to third parties.

3. Server log files

When you access the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary access data (e.g. a shortened/anonymised IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type). This processing serves to ensure smooth, secure operation on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after a short period.

4. Contact form and e-mail

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, optionally company, e-mail address, optionally phone number, topic and your message) in order to handle and answer your enquiry.

Purpose: handling your enquiry and communicating with you.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and the initiation or performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
Recipients: the enquiry is sent by e-mail to our sales mailbox (sales@card.de) and processed internally at CaRD GmbH. We do not pass it on to third parties for advertising purposes.
Retention: we store your data until your enquiry has been fully dealt with and then delete it, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The form is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS. Communication by plain e-mail, however, is unencrypted.

5. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, simply send an e-mail to datens@card.de. Please state your name, address and e-mail address so we can identify you.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

6. Data handled by our products

Our connector products do not store content data such as files, metadata or lists outside your own systems. Your documents remain in your own Microsoft 365 tenant or environment; we store only links (URLs) and encrypted connection data.

This privacy notice applies to processing within this website. Other websites are not subject to this notice and may have their own privacy policies.
